Winter 2013

So, new website eh?  What do you think?  Through the months of November and December, we are preparing for our trip to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN.  Combing through every detail to assure we put our best foot forward. Fine tuning original music and detailing our show to the nth degree. The week begins with The Old No. 5s performing in our "send off show" at Uncle Bo's on Saturday, January 19th.  On Sunday, we perform at 4pm for "Jam For Dan," a scholarship fundraiser for music students attending Washburn University (which happens to be where Aaron went to school).  Jam For Dan begins on Friday and stretches all the way to Sunday afternoon.  An amazing music festival which benefits the future of music.  Following "Jam For Dan," we make a quick trek to Olathe, KS to host our weekly Sunday Jam at FreddyTs from 7pm to 11pm.  Monday, January 20th we travel to the Broadway Oyster Bar to perform for the St. Louis Blues Society.  Tuesday we plan to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the musician's heaven that is Memphis, TN.  Wednesday through Saturday marks the International Blues Society.  Sunday we travel back to KC.
